Patio doors can sometimes be a pain and the solution is to get them to slide good. How do we do this without wasting to much time or money. You must first start with looking at the aluminum frame, hardware and rollers to see if the are all in good shape. Copper wheels are recommended for a smooth glide, if you have old plastic roller they might drop and stick.
Next make sure your screen has a good strong fiberglass wire mesh to last, remember that these screens in pool areas usually get a lot of use and you don’t want to have the light bugscreen used on windows because the y just will not last. What I offer recommend id petscreen instead of regular insect screening,it is very strong. You almost can’t even cut it with a knife. Just make sure that when installed the spline is nice and tight and you will not have any problems with it for many seasons.
